Alright late night turkers or night owls, I must go to bed now. I thought yesterday was an accomplishment at my 400 hits submitted. Today I submitted 680 hits. I loved but hated those Endors, but money was to be made. I'm ending my Monday with $45, which is close enough to the 50 I wanted. I wish I could stay and grind for 5 more bucks but I need to get up early to start my day over and turk hard. I hope everyone had a great turking day, it did improve from the slow start. Goodnight!
~waving my way out of lurkdom~ Howdy! Been lurking here a bit before jumping in both to turking and this forum but I'm trying to get moving with the excitement I see in so many of the posts here! My thanks for the GREAT hits posted which have gotten me started on a great note! My question though is I've been investigating these "endor" HITs and thought I'd trying leaping sooo I dusted off the headset and downloaded Chrome on the ipad. When I click to accept the task it tells me to click the microphone and say adjust the volume which then takes me off the page to a search result page and when I try to go back to the HIT it tells me to refresh as there was an error. When I refresh I just get the same message repeatedly until the task timed out. Any help out there? Please and TIA!
Open mturk in a new window, click hits, and then chose "hits assigned to you" option below there. You should be able to select that hit there and work on it out of there. Sometimes endor gives that error, but this usually fixes it.
Can't help with the mic thing but when an endor says to refresh it ends up in your queue. You have to be quick to get back to it due to the 3 minute timer.

Requester said upfront that there were over a hundred to evaluate and that it'd take 40 minutes or so. That's when I noped out.
Technically you get an abandonment but that stat is really almost never utilized and never in numbers that would really come up. I think productRnR uses it but it lets you abandon up to 20 percent or something like that.
Did TOTW adjust your qual from doin' these hotel review HITs or from the verify restaurant HITs? I'm askin' cause these hotel review HITs look like they can go either way at times.
