Question- what do you all that turk for your main job say when someone asks what you do? I haven't been to a holiday with my family in at least 5 years.... I don't want to be like well grandma, I do a lot of different things, but I often have the opportunity to give clever titles to porn.... I kind of feel like I should just buy a bottle of whatever makes me happy and stay home (most likely! but please any thoughts?) Love you all <3

The truth. I'm self-employed and my main gig at the moment involves Amazon's Mturk platform. If I need to give specifics, I usually go with transcription since that's something that almost everyone understands and I do a lot of that these days. You could also say it's like Elance/Upwork but the work is much quicker to do and there's no bullshit bidding.

I'd personally like to welcome all the new OCMP5 workers. Give it six months and you too will dread them as much as me - you'll hate doing them but won't be able to say no because the money is too good.
Just say you do internet freelance work...which is essentially true, and it involves alot of odd data related jobs (which is also technically true most of the time). That description is boring enough that people also don't pry too much usually...at least so long as you leave out the part about writing porn titles, getting paid to filter out adult images, and some of the more ribald stuff you might do with this type of work.
