This place needs more space. No matter who I try to talk to, they end up with a full inbox and it's not ever from me lol
I just got a new Chromebook and am in the process of loading up scripts/extensions. I have most them but when I load up a mturk window, the heading part of each hit (i.e., the blue part above the window) is now huge. For example, if the qualification lists which states/countries a turker must be from, it lists all of the states/countries in a column rather than including them all in a single line. (HOpe that makes sense). Does anybody know which script it is which takes care of this situation and compresses the mturk header?
Never heard of that issue. See if there's settings to adjust that on your end? If not, try looking through scripts to see if you find anything. (in my sig)
Fixed it. For some reason it disappeared after awhile. I saw it up and working ok then it broke. Replaced it with another URL. Hope it stays up.
Strangely enough, this one seems to take care of the problem (it scrolls to workspace and at the same time lists the required qualifications all on one line https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/3105-mmmturkeybacon-scroll-to-workspace
Great! Glad you found something that works. Hope you like your new Chromebook. I need to either upgrade my PC or get a new one. It's getting sluggish and freezes sometimes.
I like the Chromebook enough. I got it primarily because of battery issues. My old one would be almost completely depleted in 2 hours. Since I am not a "power" turker who uses/knows AFK (AHK?), a Chromebook works for me. I have a different computer for my job and paying bills (sometimes I will use it for Inquisit surveys). Since I think that some of the sites we come across are sketchy, I prefer to not sign into financial account or load info related to my job onto a computer I turk with (possibly an overreaction on my part)
