I asked BJ this in chat:

Does this include finding something online, or strictly from a book?

bluejaylabs: just books.. maybe ****pedia but nothing more than that

Amazon's running a refurb deal on the Kindle Fire HD right now, if the Kindle Fire suits your needs as a tablet. I've heard decent things about it and it's in your price range. I don't own one, though.

(I think refurbs might be the way to go, anyhow, because most of the best tablets will be outside of your price range otherwise.)

You're on the internet, the answer should be very disgustingly apparent if you even try to look.

Thanks but these are a little out of my price range right now as im not working. One reason i picked the Asus memopad. IS the Google nexus 7 any good? worth paying extra for it? I really liked the Asus memopad and was a good price just worried about it dying again, has anyone every used one?

Also will i lose all of my game data and everything? i know ill lose music and things stored locally.

Fire is good if you're looking for a 7", so is the Nexus. Flash the Fire with a custom ROM though to get Android instead of the Amazon OS.

I've gotten 2 refurb Fires (gen 2) one for $75 from BestBuy and the other for $65, can't remember from where though.

Nexus is good. Data can be backed up and restored with Titanium Backup, if you have rooted your existing tablet/phone.

They've got the next gen 8.9" Fire tablets now, too. The 16GB one is $159 with that deal. Pretty sweet. It's tempting because all I've got tablet-wise is a rooted NookColor.

I'm late asking this, but I was still on page 17 of the thread. But how would a requester even know you were using a script other than word of mouth, and even then you can't tell which users are using it or not? I never used a script for Foodies but I do use a script for RNR and crowdsource sometimes. I was just wondering how they could mark quality down for using a script unless you contacted them and told them you were using it?

I don't think they can know if you are scripting or not. The thing about nates was the zoom.

In pc games, some things are noticeable if they have been scripted, but that doesn't apply to turking xD

    yeahhh i know :p

Boy, speaking of people worried about getting rejections for retakes earlier today, this might be the 5th or 6th time I've taken this one. Great HIT :)

I don't know how they would know but I remember one requester told us that they didn't want us using a script on their HITs and we had no clue how they knew. But, if you think about it, requesters can lurk on this forum any time they want to. People talk about scripts all the time.
