I think it was after seeing the foodies thing that got people worried. I'm continuing to do them though. easy 0.10 a min.
I don't ever remember there being a discussion about who was going to start the new thread until a month or two ago. It just showed up everyday at 3:00 Eastern. Every now and again someone would get excited and post it too early and Andy would lock it and then another one would show up at the right time.
I don't think that nobody wants to do it. Somebody would always do it but there was never a discussion about it.
Yeah there wasn't a discussion about it. I would just usually ask people an hour or so if anyone wanted to create the thread and no one would reply, or sometimes they do so they would make it. Other times they would just say for me to make it.

I don't know if it's because it's the middle of the night on a Saturday/Sunday or less people are doing them or maybe Nate upgraded his servers, but the HITs are loading much, much faster for me tonight than the last few batches have. Yay!
Batch from a couple days back was running decent, maybe he lowered the image quality to cut down on bandwidth usage too.
The Nate batch I'm working on has been horribly slow. Had two expire on me just before I finished them.
I do one per browser, some say 2 in Chrome is faster. Alt or Ctrl-tab between the 2 HITs after each pic. Maybe check RAM usage, your current internet speed, and so on. I'm doing the qty. 424 batch right now and it's going pretty fast.
