Last night the wind in CT was so bad I woke up and got scared. Thought there was a tornado outside. Couldn't sleep after that. It was like a blizzard and it wasn't even snowing. It was just the snow from the rooftops.
Nope, lived in California, then Albuquerque, moved here about 7 months ago. It's insane. The boys were running around outside in short sleeves, and now the lawn furniture is across the yard.

I havent Turked much today, but I just finished catching up on this thread, mostly skimming, but the main thing that I took away from it is that if you have tax questions ask a professional, dont for the love of god ask those questions here there is so much misinformation posted here today and most days I have to shake my head. I am not a tax man, but my Dad is and I have garnered enough knowledge to know when people are talking out of there asses. Just because some guy told you many years ago that you could claim X doesnt mean that you can still claim it X years later. Just because you havent gotten audited yet doesnt mean that you wont. If you have tax questions then go somewhere they can answer them dont rely on a board where some guy got his taxes done by his brothers sisters uncle who told him that he could claim X and did not have to file Y, its stupid and it could send you to jail.
I'm just totally freaked for tornado season I've never had to deal with disasters like that, closest thing was the constant micro earthquakes in CA, but meh. That **** was so blase. This is like... destroy y0 home, destroy y0 family, destroy y0 life.
