Has anyone noticed like the past 5 days there have been not a lot of new hits posted on mturk. Like it seems like the past week the number of hits has not gone above 300,000. It's a lot of the same hits on there for awhile. I'm wondering why there hasn't been a lot of new hits posted this week. hmmm

Hi Apaullo, thanks for answering. I thought it was weird because I know a few weeks ago the hits got up to 980,000 and for a few days they were like 600 or 700,000. it's seems like the past 6 days it's been staying around 260,000. It sucks, I'm getting to the point where I've completed every survey and may have to resort to doing hits for receipts which I don't enjoy. LOL :rolleyes:
Damn, if it were not for mturk, me and my boyfriend would have been screwed and not had any gas money to get to work and back. This literally has helped us survive day to day, no joke. Phew it's scary to think what would have happened if we didn't have mturk to get us through. He lost his job for a few weeks and we have some bad habits we need to quit like yesterday.
Oh, wow, I didn't even notice the multiples. If they're all different, I'm definitely taking my chances. Great way to end the night!
There are some funny mofo's on this forum. This forum great for mturk info but also for sheer entertainment and laughs as well.
MTurk has saved my ass as well. I was working as a freelance writer for about a year after I got into a car accident, wasn't injured bad enough to need hospitalization, but bad enough to make it extremely difficult to work anywhere in my area. I took on a few freelancing gigs, but after giving up hope on the whole thing after a big job fell through, and getting booted from my apartment, I found MTurk, and make my (meager) living here. Living day to day is rough, but having some money and gaining the insight working on the interwebz has provided me, is a lot better than not having any money, and worrying about finding a job that I can actually stand to do. Besides, I started off struggling to make $5 a day, now I make $20-$30 a day without much of an issue, so I see there's potential to make a living on here; that's what I'm aiming for.
We try,it helps that a good number of us are insane,and some of us actually turk from Asylums from across the nation...
