I did the qualification hit for demand gen this morning, still waiting for it to be approved. I also requested the qualifications for the other hits they have available. So we shall see. The qualification hit seemed pretty straightforward except for finding out whether or not the organization was a non-for-profit. That was a little tedious.

Wish I could remember the names of the stuff I tried out. It wasn't any of the cartoon channel stuff, I passed that over in the very beginning and tried looking for other stuff I might like. It's annoying cus like I said logically I should like this stuff. I like cartoons, video games, comic books, science fiction... why not anime? It's either to porny, or to childish or both which is an odd combination but I don't know how else to explain it.
ohhh there are a lot of those that are neither. Neon Genesis Evangelion (which is a classic), Paranoia agent, Attack on titan (don't know if you count the nude titans as being "too porny"), Madoka might look childish but it really isnt and is cleverly written are a few series I could think of off the top of my head
I always thought I would like anime too since I like every other media that typically goes along with anime fans but... I just haven't found one that has held my interest yet. I still want to try Madoka though, I've heard a lot of good things about it.

it is really good, but i wouldn't watch an anime with the mindset of all the hype that comes with it. Also if you do, stick it out to at least episode 3. It's where the story gets deconstructed and unraveled.
I haven't had much luck with demandgen and I got so frustrated with spending too much time on so many of them and then not being able to find the last bit of information (usually the email address). I finally emailed them about it and they suggested a couple of websites that are subscription based... as if I am making enough money on them to afford that!
I like ALL the things. Cartoons, anime, kdrama, jdrama, American drama, comedy, game shows, variety shows, etc. Just wish I had the time to watch them all.
