Perhaps. But there's a lot of discussion on the forum that's not work-related, especially during the night shift. People post about their lives, and the details aren't always pleasant. Or else it's something more humdrum, like Game of Thrones. Some members may not care for one topic or the other. I think it's best just to ignore it and move on, as the conversation will most likely shift within a page or two anyway.

I actually corrected a friend's Latin grammar homework once. I never told him just how hard I leaned on the dictionary to do it, and the next time I saw him he was happy with his grade, so...a good thing that gamble turned out well.

If you have it connected to a big screen TV then it's really good as a media player and the graphics will look amazing. If not, I wouldn't be in a big rush to buy one.
