Totoro was the coolest **** ever. The cat bus made me dream big. Like really, a cat, that's a bus? Insane concept. I can't recall a cartoon where I just absolutely wanted to be part of it, more than Totoro. Fantasia is a close second in magicalness.
I agree. Anything made by Miyazaki or even Studio Ghibli for that matter is pure gold. Grave of the fireflies is such a tough movie, I don't have the courage to watch it again.

Grave of the Fireflies is probably the best animated film I've ever seen. In no way, shape or form does it appear to be a kids film. It's something I think many Americans might have a difficult time understanding because it's so deeply attached to the realities of collateral damage.
