I noticed I posted the wrong URL on the Tal Brown post Here is the right link https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=3IUGGYQCV3VCV9GZBS2C8NI67E6D9S Tell me if you are getting mostly 1s across the board for these.
Morning! Why do requesters repost a hit under a different name and then say this? This study is about people's responses to a donation ad. If you have done a task for me on this topic, please do not accept this HIT again. The original requester was Yuyu Lin. I did the hit 3 days ago. The new requester is MturkResearch. It's quite obviously the same hit with the same title.
Some of the Tals definitely take longer (I've gotten a couple with 3 distinct companies). The ones will all "1s" are super easy (can quickly tell it's all the same usually). So it still averages out pretty solid.
Yeah. My biggest pet peeve with batches. I don't know what it means when numbers won't go down. I don't like unpredictable situations.
Jared AHK script, in case anyone wants it. Load HIT, read what you can see, hit 0 on number pad to scroll down (can do this more than once if necessary), and then use number pad #s 1-5 to select your choice, then hit enter to submit. Numpad0:: send {click} sleep 100 send {Down 13} return Numpad1:: send {tab} sleep 100 send {space} sleep 100 send {tab} return Numpad2:: send {tab} sleep 100 send {Down 1} sleep 100 send {tab} return Numpad3:: send {tab} sleep 100 send {Down 2} sleep 100 send {tab} return Numpad4:: send {tab} sleep 100 send {Down 3} sleep 100 send {tab} return Numpad5:: send {tab} sleep 100 send {Down 4} sleep 100 send {tab} return
He's such a good requester. Variety of hits for him. And If my joggy memory serves, he's done this before. This is possibly the safest guy I know for masters (famous last words, eh?).
I believe you. But what's up with #s not dropping? If anything, that means it could vanish any second. I don't get it.
Right...so he has multiple workers for each hit (like he's done before). Like the Jobaline batches, remember those? They are "stuck" at a high number for a while and then they go down REAL fast. As more workers join, the number will begin to plummet.

By the way, yesterday I realized that if you use a toggle function to activate and suspend AHK scripts (I use F4), you can switch back and forth between two AHK scripts with one button push. Load one, use your toggle key to suspend it, load the second. After that, every time you use the toggle key, it will suspend the active script and activate the suspended one. Code to insert in your script: ~$F4::Suspend ;F4 toggles suspend.
