My 105Mbps only costs me $65, and it includes TV. Although that is a 12 month "promotional" price. It will go up to $75 in a month or two, which is still perfectly fine for me.
Not really any other options though depending on where you live. I mean you either have to go with one of the cable companies or DSL which is significantly slower.
I'm paying like 96 (before taxes and stupid fees) for... I dunno the numbers, whatever the extreme internet with TW is... and basic digital cable and that's only because it was going to be only like 10.00 less to just have no cable tv. So I said screw it. I get grumpy over costs of internet.
Comcast does nothing but intermittently go out every few minutes no matter where in the country you have their service. I have verizon now; speeds are a little slower but my connection stays connected consistently over a 24 hour period.
Here I have two options. Satellite internet in 2 or 4mbps options at $45 and $55 a month. Or DSL (phone hookup required too), 15mbps, at $95 a month after taxes and fees. We own a business 30 miles away where we get 30mbps for $50 a month.
The cheapest TV the cable company offers is about 65 channels for $60 a month -- a channel lineup from the 90's. For only $21 more a month I can get *digital* cable with an extra 40 channels. Satellite is really the only option in this town for TV.
i use "Kodi TV" to watch TV shows on movies yes its illegal but saves me a lot of money and time. commercial free. so my only bill for cable & internet is the 50$ a month not bad.. plus around here if you buy cox cable internet you automatically get basic cable for free (coaxial cable only- no digital box; still decent picture). funny thing is ATT only offers 30mbps for 50$ in my area. was pretty much a no brainier to love cox <3
Three or four days a month I am working just to pay for Internet. And it just keeps going up. It drives me insane.

I used to get that a lot, but after i changed my modem to a newer generation, it stopped doing that. Some of the older generations are no longer fully supported, and will do that.
ive been wanting to get around to that, i have an apple TV in every room currently and i stream KODI TV from my Macbook Pro to the Apple TV of choice to watch programs.
