This is a big can o worms. PPl say that is just an excuse to ask for quals if ur a newbie and don't have 1, 10k or 20k hits to do them... I think they should be required to have them- to protect requestors....AND us. Maybe they would be forced in many cases to actually give proper instructions.
I'm going to cut out of here again in January. My sister was in SK for two years between undergrad and grad school and liked it well enough to stay for two years, so that's on the table. It's a toss up because I'm being recruited for China and Moscow, the money in SK is decent, and Egypt is, well, not going anywhere. Decisions, decisions.
