Like for when you have a HIT you are trying to catch. Put it on Panda which will automatically catch the HIT for you by putting it into HITs assigned to you. Instead of you clicking on refresh over and over. The auto-refresh will auto-reload the page for you. As a result, it will catch the HIT for you if it comes up. You just go to your HITs assigned to you and it'll be there.
If you refresh the panda link it will keep checking to see if the HIT is live and accept it automatically. This way you can work on your other HITs rather than waiting around for a good HIT to come back.
For those that don't know what a Panda is: What is PandA? PandA stands for PreviewandAccept. When you panda hits, you can auto accept a hit without previewing it first. The URL of the hit on mturk looks like this when you're previewing it: When you add "andaccept" inbetween "preview" and the question mark, it becomes a "panda" link. Now the revised link looks like this: When you refresh the PandA link, the hit will be automatically accepted into your queue instead of just previewing it. The HIT will be in your queue under 'Hits Assigned To You' tab. You can put PandAs in your Turkmaster or Chrome's Auto Refresh extensions.
Haven't checked out Turkmaster yet, I hear it is pretty beefy suite. Does it notify you when your PandAs have been accepted so I don't have to check my queue to see if it's been added?
It makes a little "ding," for which you can choose the volume. But it also "dings" when a watched requ posts work, even if you haven't panda-ed that exact HIT. Didn't see your post, @frood.
Yes. Does the work for you. It also allows you to organize your pandas in one place. You can click one button to start 10 pandas at once. Or click one button and start 3 pandas, leaving the others off for now.
I just didn't know if you can get timed out with a large amount of page requests. Haven't read the ToS. With HIT Scraper the lowest I go is 30 seconds, just since in my experience refreshing too much can flag you on certain sites.
This is the first time I've snagged several nascars, but my understanding of the Southern accent is terrible. I've had to toss at least 2/3s back as i can't understand a word they're saying.
Pretty sure there is no penalty for the PREs (Page Refresh Errors) except for the PREs themselves. Seems to vary, though, the amount of stuff you have to have going on before you start getting too many. @parro Hi! No worries.
Fine. I thought auto-refresh was an additional feature. Is anyone else crazy like me, alphabetizing pandas? I also put a date in the name, so when no one's seen one for a long time, I can delete it. I'm OCD.
Mine is random. I don't have them up in any specific order except maybe my most favorite on top. Putting a date on them is a good idea. I never thought of that.

There's a fellow named Bear at the other forum. He's modified TM a little, and now I don't get as many "You've exceeded the request limit..." I have about 35 pandas going now on TM, mostly under 5 seconds. Don't know limit on Scraper, except that you can't run them together.
I'm a nut about organization. I alphabetize so I don't end up with more than one for each. I'll probably stop when i have 2 pages full.
There's 7 different Turkmaster scripts out there. Glad you got it so you don't run into those annoying errors from all the pandas running together. That's really annoying when it does that.
Do you know what the best TM is by any chance? I have had the same one since it first came out - probably got it from Tjololo's page.
