All Indians are getting this silly checks instead of Bank Direct Deposit except Americans. We need to do something about it. All Indian turkers must unite through this forum and through this post to persuade Mturk to start Bank Direct Deposit facility for Indians also like they have for Americans. We can do this, by contacting Amazon customer support everyday and requesting them to start this facility. All Indian turkers need to unite and work as a team to get this completed because Mturk is lending a deaf ear. Let us unite through this thread and also suggest your idea about persuading Mturk to start this facility. If even 100 Indian turkers contact Mturk customer support everyday, then they will take this issue seriously and within a few months we can see results. Post your support and suggestions in this thread.

I highly doubt your opinion will effect the decision of an American Based Company. I think Mturk should be able to be accessed all over the world. Only problem is all these Over-See's people can't quit scamming trying to make extra money instead of being honest. Thus, I highly doubt Amazon is going to show the least little bit of concern. I believe Mturk should be accessible everywhere, but you can blame the people where you come from, for this situation. All you have to do is watch the forums. Watch who all the spamming comes from. Watch the IP addresses, you will notice they all come from over see's.

I mean heck, most of the work I graded in the past on Mturk, for example, a transcription, half of the hits some scamming over see's people typed "English" in the transcription box on hundreds of hits. It's called "work." And then you guys wonder why you can discriminated against. I give it to a few of the people on here, there is a few reputable Indian workers on here, yet most of them are not. And it doesn't take long for Amazon, a multi million dollar company, to realize when their getting scammed whether you think it does or not.

Except India and US, other countries have to buy stuff from Amazon.com using their Mturk earnings. This is only because Indians constitute a major part of Turkers or why do you think they are being so partial to Indians and not other Asian countries. There are scammers on every freelancing website like ODesk but ODesk never sends checks to it's Indian members. The only reason is that there are mixed bag of Indian turkers on Mturk, some who make like $200 a month and some who make more than $1000 a month. So Bank Direct Deposit should be an opt-in facility, those who want it can avail it and those who don't can continue receiving their checks.

All of which has no bearing on electronic forms of payment, which is what the OP is advocating - and with a much better command of the English language than you seem to be demonstrating. ;)

If scamming were the deciding factor on electronic forms of payment, NO ONE would be allowed because scammers know no national borders.

Razor, money always was and will remain the king or else the Fortune 500 companies would never have bothered to outsource the thousands of jobs to Asian countries. The Fortune 500 companies never bother with whether they are an American company or not, they care about the millions they save from outsourcing.
