Hello all, Our cognitive psych' lab will be posting hits in the next few months. Can be found by searching for 'Uri Hasson', which is the name of the requester. We pay fairly, I think: 50cent for anything ~5 min or a bit less, $2.00 for 15-20min hits. We've been posting HITS since 2010 and have had great experiences (though we don't have a TO profile). This year we implemented an 'informed consent' form as a qualification (search for InformedConsentUH), as this is required by the local institution. No identifiable information is required in that qualification: you can put initials. We qualify quickly, and with that you can do all our HITS. In any case, if you're having a slow day, check out if we have hits posted, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments -- we know that these types of HITS are not typically put out on the Turk, so will be curious to hear comments. Currently, I put a "total approved hits > 1000" constraint on potential workers to increase the 'signal to noise', but I know there are many motivated people with less HITs under their belt. I'm considering implementing a version of the HIT without that constraint , but using a custom-assigned qualification for people who are interested in these sorts of HITs, have less than 1000 done, and that contact me by email. If you have thoughts on this possibility, would love to hear about that as well. Thanks, Uri
I filled out the qualification form - Initials SB (I put my full name in there, though.) I see that now there are no available HITs, but if I get qualification, I will definitely take your surveys. Thanks for communicating with us all here!
I didn't find it when I searched for HITs, but check for InformedConsentUH under qualifications and it's there.
Also, your timer is only 8 minutes. That isn't long considering your HIT takes 5. You need to increase the timer. :/ People REALLY dislike short timers! (me included)
Qual test submitted also. As stated above 8 minutes is not a lot of time especially if you are a really slow reader like I am. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for posting this. I hope I'm not too late, but I submitted my qual test just now. I look forward to participating in your studies.
