Simple hit, just click 3 links to pull up a search (auto-populates) on 3 business directories, scan the list to see if the given business is listed, answer yes/no for each. Only one business per hit, takes about 20 seconds for 5 cents. I worked a batch of these awhile back and had I believe it was 300+ of them all approved. Can't supply a link at the moment, but just look for a crowdflower hit with the title I gave.
I completed 280 of these last time they were available, and they won't let me work on anymore at this time.
I was working on those yesterday. After 4 I got the message that my accuracy was off. I knew they had marked answers incorrect.. saying one of the sites had it listed when clearly it didn't.. I even did a copy paste where it said "not found" lol.. so I can't work on these bummer because I liked them.
Hmm, that's too bad. Between the last batch and this one I've done over 350 of them and my accuracy is at 95%... there were definitely a few of those "test" questions for accuracy that I SHOULD have had right and they said they weren't, so I can see how you may have run into a few of those.
Oh well.. They have other hits I will do today if all else fails. Yesterday was soooooo slow all I did was CS hits until it locked me out lol
One more bit of info to those who can do them... there was a debate last time as to whether they should be marked as YES if the business is listed but the address says it's a different town from what is being searched for. The whole time my argument was that the question asks "Does company xyz appear WITHIN THE RESULTS for city abc"... so the requirement is that the company is found in the results for the given search, it doesn't necessarily have to be located IN the city being searched. That does appear to be the case, as I did the entire batch that way with a high level of accuracy and had all of them approve.
Same situation here, lol, maybe somebody will eventually see that and ...do whatever is needed to let me do these again! (Then again, it's kinda my fault, I also misclicked a NO for a YES on the one before...)
I had the same issue last week. I submitted 15 or so with an accuracy of ~67%. Even though I only check no when company wasn't found (usually on dex knows). I tried again this morning and it says 100% accuracy and has the total from before that I had done. I guees keep checking and they should let you back in.
Go to their get satisfaction link and sign up. Provide the job id and contributor id and tell them what happened. I had to do the same thing. Some of their test questions are wrong. It took a few days but they fixed it and now my accuracy is 100% and I can do them again.
I completed 275 of these this morning before I was cut off saying I completed all that I was allowed. My accuracy was over 90% and only a few hiccups where I had to correct them. So it seems to be working better today.
Glad to know I'm not the only one that had issues with their test questions being wrong. I'll have to look at maybe doing some more of these now.
Yeah, I had the same problem with them saying the answer was yes when it was definitely no. I had gotten locked out because my percentage was too low. Last night I checked to see if anything had changed and there was a message that said that the wrong answers had been corrected and my percentage was corrected back to 100%.
At the end my percentage went down from 100% to 82%. I had to go back to the "Get satisfaction" site because 2/3 that I got wrong were clearly right. I didn't get locked out surprisingly but I don't want to receive any rejections because of their mistakes. I'm sitting on 200 of them.
I'm frustrated with this one. I had 100% accuracy before this HIT and their answers were WRONG on the ones they said I missed. I'm praying they fix the ones I tagged as wrong. I was proud of my rating and for them to tell me it's listed when it was clearly not (mostly on dex) makes me really mad. I copied and pasted when it said "not found" so hopefully they fix it.
