Are you starting from scratch and buying everything? You could rebuild what you already have and upgrade some parts unless the parts you want don't fit in your current one. I helped my son upgrade some parts on his. Wasn't too hard and great feeling to find out it all worked after we were done.

Just as an example my current computer cost me $55 and has 16 gigs of ram and i had to saw off some of the case to fit a $10 512 mb graphics card in and this is the most powerful computer with the best graphics i have ever had lol. So i wanted a good one to do stuff with and not see bland blurry colors on games anymore >.> i got tired of it after 15 years x.x
