What is this? Spoiler I am Tjbot! I'm a solution devised by the genious mods to prevent there ever being a day that hit threads aren't posted! The whole point of my existence is to post a hit thread if one doesn't exist by 12:08am PST. If you see this post, assume that this one is the main post. One of the mod team will clean up existing posts and consolidate once they wake up and get online. As my name indicates, I am a bot. I don't post, nor do I respond to PM's. If you have any problems, send an email to tjbot@ns4t.net or PM Tjololo, he can help out with any issues. Want to make tomorrow's thread? Just go for it!

My theory is nobody lives in those places. California? New York? Texas? Never heard of them. I guess those are the states with the most coronavirus. So, all things considered, I'm glad I don't qualify.
They picked 18 states. I didn't think Florida was in the top 18 but maybe it is. I know in the South it got hit a little bit hard but not so much here in Central Florida. Disney shut down fairly early surprisingly. That may have helped. I'm still not convinced sheltering-in-place is scientifically valid. I think NY probably has more just because it's colder climate and that place is fifthly and there's also reason to believe they are over counting the deaths to COVID more than any other state. I'm not a huge fan of DeSantis (our governor) but he didn't do an awful job. I think herd immunity is the only thing that's going to keep this at bay. The whole flattening the curve was a horrible idea in my opinion especially weighing the economic factor which will hurt many more people in the long run.
