Title: 1 hour study for search results (Fluent English Needed) | PANDA Requester: Geodes [A3HX6V5WV2T415] (Contact) TV: No Reviews TO: No Reviews TO2: No Reviews Reward: $10.00 Duration: 5 hours Available: 1 Description: In this 1 hour study you will look at search results for 3 topics and answer a set of open-ended quesrtions Requirements: Masters Exists; Total approved HITs GreaterThan 500; HIT approval rate (%) GreaterThan 95; Location EqualTo US about to wade in... ETA: that took WAY longer than the hour they said it would. I was only earning $7 an hour by the time I was through. Still pretty good money for mturk, but I hate when they lie about how long something takes. It wasn't painful at all though. Easy--pleasant, even.
Has anyone received an email from CloudResearch asking you to join their new online platform? Looks like they're going to try and get amazon's cut for surveys too or something.
I had 7 weeks in a row where I had exactly one rejection though I don't know which ones were from no codes I'm sure a few of them were. I've gotten a break the four weeks (including this one so far) where I haven't had one yet and there's only 6 more HITs to clear those 3 wweks prior to this one but I can't help but think that I'll get one this week because of the lack of codes. I actually had two more no codes so 5 of 22 HITs today had no code. That's just awful.
I sent him a message about his buggy survey. It took me a good bit more than an hour also (caught it on panda, fool am I). It turns out the damn timer stops running while you're typing! So the more you type, the longer the task takes. And given you are left to sit there staring at an otherwise empty box, what else are you going to do but type whatever comes to mind. Way to encourage people to do the exact opposite of what you should want them to do. Which is why I'm assuming this is a bug. But dumb requester is also a possibility. [And yes, I'll admit it: despite my complaints I don't actually mind writing. In principle. I'm a slow writer, so every writing box cuts into my hourly. This survey would have addressed that issue had it worked properly. And I also hate writing about myself, my memories, my feelings, etc. Which is what they usually want you to write about.]
