First time using Prolific and it doesn't seem so bad. If there was more surveys up at a given time it might be solid competition with Turk but at the same time I still have nightmares about the survey sites I used before finding this place.
Try using a page refresher on it. They post around 2-5 per day that I'm qualified for. You're in school so you likely will have more options available to you on PA.

Just joined Prolific today and actually put a refresher on it. At 8 euros, which is basically 9$. I think this was just a good day for them, but I'll be keeping my eye on them. I like the set-up there much better than Mturk. And seems they really follow through with 6 euros minimum.
Yeah there are occasionally some bad paying surveys, but 90% of the time they're worth it. It is a little unusual to make 8 pounds in a day though. They sometimes go multiple days with nothing, but when they're hot, they're hot.
I snagged 2 in a row, and when I signed up there were 2 available. All were 2 euros, one being 2.1. And all took 10-15 minutes. I was starting to love it but didn't want to hype it up since it's probably crap overall and I just got lucky. Oh, thanks. Was going to cash out at 10.
