I've never had duck before. I've always wanted to try Foie gras because they used to cook it so much on those old Master Chef shows before they did the American version. Edit: Iron Chef
I always wanted (money, space, and upkeep in mind) one of those things I saw on infomercials where maybe a 10 foot pool like that allowed you to swim against the tide in place for exercise and what not. And I figure it could double as a hot tub somehow. My dreams aren't big... Ah, here we go...
Technically that's usually goose that they're using, and you might find the process of obtaining foie gras anywhere from distasteful to completely unethical. Duck pate is quite nice itself, and I also love duck meat. You can also get tubs of rendered duck fat to cook with. Delicious.
Sounds nice to me. I would much prefer swimming to running or weight machines, so much less stress on the joints.
