Change that to 20 to 30x the money and you're onto something. And it doesn't take programming skills, just take any hobby or interest, find out how to monetize it, and go. Takes some discipline and motivation, because it's not as passive as just waiting for something to show up on scraper, but it sure beats spending multiple days trying to max out on Endor for that sweet $15.

Good luck. In my own selfish way I hope you stick with it, because if you get it back it can provide a roadmap for any of us who has the same kind of misfortune in the future (or by some miracle, you annoy support enough that they come up with a real method for dealing with these issues). But I can understand that after enough radio silence it's just not worth fighting anymore.

We don't have much of a choice, you can't just hop into a career because you can write userscripts and bots. Everyone knows mturk pay sucks, it's just like besides the barrage of garbage, there are some rare times where you make an insane amount for the effort and it feels like it's worth it again.

    The Schrödinger's Turk dilemma.

  5. MadLab (MASTERS) $2.50 10-12 mins

    (The progress bar is useless)

Soluto down to $7 now. Anyone want to bet that by the end of the summer they'll be offering 75 cents to make eight calls or something?

Just don't understand why a single email simply saying "poor work" or "foreign IP" is like pulling teeth. That's pissing me off way more than the initial suspension at this point.

There's what, about a $100-200k worth of work, minimum, on the platform at any give time? And they can't set up one call center. It's bullshit.

Research study on memory and decisions ($0.05 for 5 min, bonus option for $3-3.72 for 60 more min).(~ 2 minutes)

They really put the bone in bonus.

Did school end for you guys yet? If the feeding stopped about that time, it could be a kid who had to go spend the summer with other parent/relative.

They drop the price when they have less steps to do. Or at least yesterday it was like that. I didn't see them on my scraper this morning.

You may be on to something. School ended last week, if I am not mistaken.

  12. Leigh A Blingh (MASTERS) $2.00. Didn't get a time on this since I was going to put it off at first with the 24 hour timer, but I did it anyway. No more than 10 mins, but probably closer to 7 or 8.

MAKE SURE you copy and paste the captcha because that's your survey code, and it doesn't mention that on the captcha screen. Only reason I knew was TO.

  13. Mtuck is slow scam today. Anyone make any dough?

When you're ready to go out, try doing a social media blitz. Potential negative PR *might* get someone's attention. No replies from the direct emails, eh?

Why, Amazon stock is currently at 721.26. You see, they can't possibly afford to pay for more employees to run MTurk......it's big business: pay little(to workers), get lots(for owners).

Which is weird, because I did a $7.50 yesterday that required only one call, this one is $7 for two. Could just be random/disorganized.

*yawn* I've made a whopping 70 cents this morning.

JOCI qual is consistent $9-12/hr, just gets tiresome.

Mechanical Turk is infinitesimally small in the grand scheme of Amazon's business priorities. I think people here tend to overrate the significance of MT in relation to Amazon.
