just got $5 in the mail from those nielson tv survey people. do people even return those surveys? i almost threw it away with the other junk mail til i remembered getting money from them last year.
That sounds reassuring then. The good part of his stupid setup is that a HIT with a potential payoff that high is just sitting around for the taking. And most of it really was pretty painless. I was medium risk on most of mine, a few high. Biggest part of my bonus came from a set of tasks I expected to get nothing for... I'd like to pretend skill and careful consideration were involved. lol
Okay so yeah, I did that. *@##$%$ *regrets clicking on the damned 2 minute timer... *mourns the fat bonus
Ditto. Did it Saturday. Dunno what the AA was. Got stuff pending for the last 11 days. Unusual for me. Plus one joker owes me a buck from March 8. Soon...
I wish you better luck in the future. But I still wouldn't worry about that HIT. It was impossible to get wrong so it may go to AA but no one has been rejected that I know of. Can you provide 10 requests to order pizza?
Please compensate more for a survey of this magnitude. You estimate 20 minutes of completion, yet you only pay $.50??? That is the equivalent of $1.50/hr. If you cared about your research, you would consider paying more to get a more reliable and accurate pool of survey responses. The wage you are paying, is really ridiculously low - it's pathetic. Stanford is now known as a school of such low regard in their academic research due to such poor compensation. It clearly shows the lack of professionalism, and frankly, lack of any kind of respectable research study that comes out of your school. The community now regards the local community college as the leader in academic research in comparison to Stanford. Stanford will likely become less and less respected as time goes by. Good luck
Thanks for the encouragement guys. I did the duck survey and there weren't any left when I was done. I guess we'll see now how the Gaurantee! works out.
I have to say for a task mostly about gambling and risks it is... interesting... that he set it up in such a way that even doing the task is a risk of sorts. Dunno if that was intentional or if he introduced a massive bias into his results by doing it this way.

Was just going to say he got back to me about it and said to use that dummy hit. I looked at it earlier and assumed that was what I should do, but since the original hit said to message him I did that first.
