I tried these hits but I am afraid to do a lot of them. He only has 1 review that is a 4. I would appreciate any comments or experience with him. Thanks!
I did some last week when there was a small batch that was posted and they all got approved. I felt comfortable enough going ahead and doing a lot yesterday.
I did one yesterday, to see how fast he pays. Not approved yet. I also thought the pay was way too low. But, I see the batch of 10,000 is gone.
I did some but I was curious how fast he pays. It said auto approve 7 days but I didn't know if that was true or if he paid before that. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens.
My other ones paid out in less than seven days. It was closer to 2-3 probably. I wasn't keeping exact track. As for the pay being low...I guess that depends. I can 10-key like the wind, so I had two browser windows open side by side. One with the HIT, one with the website. It was really easy to enter the numbers that way, and I found that it seemed about 1/4-1/3 of the numbers didn't have any delinquent taxes so it only involved choosing that option. So in that case, those HITs would take me about the same amount of time as one Readabl HIT, at 8x the pay. Even for the ones that required entry, I found I didn't have trouble - but again, I do type fast, so that might be part of it. For me, it's probably the best-paying job I've seen on Mturk in years. From time to time I'll see people mention other HITs and I'm confused at how they can possibly make the amounts of money they do - but everyone's skilled at different things, and these just happened to hit a sweet spot for me.
Thanks Dana! I liked them and was making good time on them. I was doing them the same way with a split screen. I was just afraid of doing a ton of them because I had never done them before. I feel much better now!
Yup, thank you. I loved them, but I also 10-key/type fast. I also liked not feeling like I had to throw one back in the pile if it wasn't there or I would be punished. They were perfect HITs.
This. A million times this. I was just half-heartedly working on some HITs that paid .35 apiece (to find e-mail addresses for businesses) but you were only to accept the HIT if you had an address. So you could waste infinite time researching to find one, only to not get paid at all if you ultimately couldn't. Or worse, find one - and then go to accept it and see that someone else accepted it first. You could always accept the HIT first, but then you run the risk of pushing your returned stat higher. I don't like doing that even if it doesn't affect my ability to accept other HITs.
Mine just paid out. I had three rejections, but I figure out of more than 500 HITs that's not out of the realm of possibility. I freaked out initially though because the three rejections were the first thing I saw before everything else started rolling in.
Mine has just started to approve. I did 555 of them. We'll see. I did take screen shots of more than 90% of the ones I did. Since this was a "new" requester for me. I do expect 2 or 3 rejections. I hate the enter key some days. I really wish some requesters would put up the "are you really sure?" pop up. lol.
The guy with the tax hits is Jordan A Gross, if turkopticon is to believed. There is a Jason Gross who hasn’t been reviewed since 2011.
That is actually correct. My brain I think translated it automatically when most of it matched up with the HIT type
Mine paid out too. I didn't have any rejections but I think I only did 125 of them. I really liked them and only wish they would pay out a little faster.
Did over 100 of these. 1 reject, but it was my fault (grabbed the wrong numbers..after looking at so many of them lol).. will do again! Loved them.
