Send us a picture of your city for $1.02 and up to 0.62c bonus.

TIP: Most rejections come from bad focus. Most bad focus comes from cell phone cameras.

(Full HIT coming in next post, because I couldn't post a link in my first one!)

Does it have to be a city defining picture? Meaning, do you have to be able to look at the picture and know where it is?

    Chris,

The picture has to be related to the city. For example you could send a picture of the Sydney Opera House, and say it was from Sydney, Australia... That would be good.

However, a broad audience does NOT need to know about the city or the landmark in the city. An example of this is the Alamo, in San Antonio, Texas. Not too many people have seen it, and even fewer would know what city it is in, but this would be a perfectly fine picture to send in, because it is a landmark that is easily related to San Antonio, Texas

Are these repeatable? In other words, can I go to surrounding cities around my city and submit those pictures also?

This is my question also. I live on the border of two large cities and 3 other small towns are within 10 minutes driving. So if it is worth it for me to bring my camera next time I am out, I would love to.

The normal policy is once per worker. In practice, Some workers have just sent in additional pictures, and as long as they follow the directions and are not copied from another website, it gets approved.

I have began to inform workers they can send in additional pictures - this is if they sent in a good picture, that wasn't copied from another website. If you didn't get a notification, and you want to be absolutely sure, you can always give me your worker ID and I can look at your previous picture(s) and then let you know if you can send more.

The biggest reason for rejections is focus so just make sure they are focused well - and usually cell phones are the biggest culprits of bad focus. Copies from other websites are not tolerated and definitely get a reject and sometimes get a block!

As for traveling to other cities to take pictures, that is perfectly fine (as long as you take the picture). Obviously, at the rate of pay of $1.02 per picture - you wouldn't want to travel just to take pictures for me, as you would probably lose money on gas and time! But if your already there getting groceries or something else, then you can probably easily fit in some pictures.

wsovc.com Great info! Thank you for posting this for us. I'll have to remember to take the camera with me next time I go out to some of the surrounding cities.

Thanks for coming to the forum; I do have a question for you.

Are we allowed to upload a picture that we have taken that has already been published elsewhere (on the Web or otherwise)? Does it have to be a previously unpublished photograph?

Cathalain, This is a very tricky situation. The best answer I can give is NO.

Because of those trying to steal from me, I have to check the Internet to see if they are sending me a picture thats already out there. If I find the picture, its a reject, and sometimes a block.

Sadly, I can't separate the fraudsters from the non fraudsters (because the fraudsters would too tell me they took the picture).. So there is simply no way around this. I guess you could go and take down every occurrence of the picture from the internet, such that I won't find it, but that would take more time than its worth, since the earning would only be $1.02.
