 Well here is a new task. I like that it pays 5 cents but..there seems to be no right or wrong answer-
    https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview...+Hayashi&hitId=2SHDOBDDP8PJ2L4XTHOMJ3Q3DGQ3EX

This is a new requester. 2 good ratings on TO. Worth it to try a few and see if you get paid. It is not a task with any right or wrong answers and over 3,000. I am going to do 10 or so.

Let me know if he approves you. I hope this is a good guy.

Takes a very short time to get one done. I have no idea if there is a limit on how many you can do.
Requester: Eiji Hayashi Reward: $0.05 per HIT HITs Available: 3702 Duration: 20 minutes
Qualifications Required: Total approved HITs is greater than 1000, HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 95

WARNING Don't do these or only do a few in case you get rejected- He rejected all of mine and said incomplete answer :/ Huh? I answered everything. I only did close to 10. Going to rate him bad on TO. Grrr

LOL! Yep he sure is. Glad you reported him too. He needs a bad rating so people won't do his HITS and get their account messed up. Amazon really needs to start getting rid of bad requesters.

It's just him. He doesn't want to pay people for data. He is a turd!

I had 2 rejections. Luckily I only did like 10 for him.

So he sends me back this reply:

We are really sorry that we had rejected your hit.
Actually, our system had a bug. Because of the bug, when you chose the first option in the lists, your answers were not recorded in our system. As a result, the system judged that your hit was incomplete.
We stopped the system, fixed the bug, and, now, the system is working as it is supposed to work.
Again, we are really sorry for rejecting your hits, which did not have any problem.

    Sincerely,
    Eiji Hayashi

But with no plan to reverse the rejection
    or pay for the hits

    I'm surprised he actually replied
in the past he is one of those who avoid replies

Yep. He responded to most on TO who rated him badly- Which was many. For rejected hits with the same response we all got. He said it was a system thing. I responded and said I could understand but he should still pay me for the work I did and also those rejections hurt my score.
Glad he at least responded and hopefully he will make it right and not reject any others if he has work again.

I agree! Can they reverse rejections? He needs too. I bet some who do not use TO since he had thousands of HITS...may have gotten their score below what you need to even work on Mturk if they did a lot :/

    Just got an email:

    Hi,

    Here is an update.
We contacted Amazon and found that Amazon can change "rejected" HIT to "accepted", which means that we can pay for your "rejected" works and your approval rate will be recovered.
Amazon said that the process can take up to 3 - 5 business days. Now we are waiting for hearing back from Amazon.

    Thanks,
    Eiji

Sounds like he's making things right
Gonna have to go back and change his TO rating

Great! I will change my rating too if he reverses them and pays.

I had one of mine rejected (incomplete answer) on Aug 13 and today it was reversed and approved for payment. Despite what requesters and workers say, rejects can be reversed. This is the second time for me.
