Yes how can I make $100 a day by using Mechanical Turk. I have been only make $2-3 a day by using surveys but I see everyone making $100 a day so any help is good. Thank you.
Most of the high earners have the qualification known as "Masters" which seems to be, randomly and at certain times, given out by Amazon that requesters use for their higher-paying hits which call for more attention than your average one.
Also, I think you can make more if you catch certain small batches, which can be done quickly, for between .05 & .10, with auto accept on. I did the eyeapps one time and got .05 per hit and did a couple hundred pretty fast to get my numbers up (it appears that once you hit 500 approved, you start qualifying for higher paying hits). However, I read here and there that you have to be careful and choose ones that aren't known for rejecting all of your hits, which some people seem to say eyeapps do. They accepted all of mine, but do your research and proceed with caution. Also, I make my daily goal of $15 just by hanging out in the great hits thread. One last thing. Look around for some scripts. They can be really helpful and make things a lot easier. Disclaimer: I'm still new and would refer you to others for better advice.
you need to get some quals can't really do anything about masters since it's more or less random(do get to 5000 approved asap though to at least put yourself in the lottery for it) but from time to time you can pick up a lucrative qual keep your eyes open and hope to get lucky
It's tough job but not impossible even people makes couple of hundred dollars without Master Qualification.
it moves fast, normally i'll hop to the last page if i'm starting the day, or if i've taken a break for a couple hours, because they'll have moved 20 pages forward. once your caught up refresh often.

Best advice someone said, the longer you stay the more you make. And the only real way to make money is to persevere. Auto accept is a script that accepts every HIT. Not sure exactly how it does it though. You install a script.
Auto accept refers to a couple of things: --When you're doing a batch of HITs, keeping the "automatically accept next HIT" box checked allows you to plow through them without that extra click every time (at least until you hit a captcha). --Let's say someone in the great hits thread posted some juicy $5 HIT that you qualify for, but you missed your chance and it was gone already by the time you clicked the link (note: with good surveys, this happens almost all the time, since by the time it gets posted here a ton of people have already jumped on it). To give yourself a shot at grabbing it later if/when someone else returns it or lets it expire, you do the following: *Change the "preview" to "previewandaccept" in the URL (this makes it into an "auto accept" link that'll automatically grab the HIT if it becomes available). *Use an Auto Refresh add-on (install this in your browser ahead of time) to have it automatically refresh the tab every 5 or 10 sec. Leave that tab sitting open while you keep working on other HITs. *Don't actually check that tab to see if you got the HIT (since even when you do get it, the next refresh a few seconds later will go back to telling you it's no longer available). Instead, go to the "HITs assigned to you" to see if it's there. Check it reasonably often; last thing you want is to find that you snagged the high-paying survey but you only have 3 minutes left on its timer. Hope this helps!
Agreed. As previous poster stated $15. is very doable. 20 to 35 if you are doing transcription editing, daily, and faithfully is totally doable. Which is what I do. Best of luck to you. I think 100 a day is not possible. Well, not for me anyway.
You're not going to have a chance at making $100 a day unless you have Masters or have been doing this for years. I've been doing it for 1.5 years and I can pretty consistently make $9-10 an hour now. Some times are going to be so dead that you won't make more than $6 an hour. When you start off, work through those times. Doing surveys is not going to get you to $100. When I sat on MTurk doing surveys all day, I'd top out around $50 becuse there's only so many surveys to take. And that'd be with about 7 hours of work. The best work you can find are huge batches of stuff. If you see one posted in the Great HITs thread, jump on it and get some work done on it until it's gone. Also you should start doing really cheap, quick batches that will get you to 5000 HITs approved quicker. They may not make as much money at first, but 5000 is pretty much the last major milestone you need to hit to have access to most HITs that don't require the master qual. I've been doing this for 1.5 years, and did it full time for 6 months recently, and I'll just tell you, $100/day is unrealistic. Shoot for $250/week and expect to be working for 30-40 hours, even once you're good at Turk. It's tough for this to be your only job, I'd recommend supplementing an actual job with TUrking. It's stressful to make enough per month to support your life, especially during the summer when it's notably slower. Expect $50/day during the week ONCE YOU GET GOOD. Read through the topic every day, when people talk about something you don't understand (Auto Accept, Page Monitor, etc.) start either asking questions or looking into it. You're not going to make $50/day right now, you're simply not experienced enough. Shoot for $20/day, then increase your goal once $20 becomes easy. And don't leave Turk early just because it's been hard that day, if this is something you want to make $100/day I assume it'll be your main and only job, so stick with it.
My highest day ever was a bit over $80 just the other day with the Youtube HITs. I'm sure some people can do $100s a day but I'm not one of them - at least not yet. I have Masters and my goal is $20 a day - I can usually hit that in a few hours because that's all I want to do each day but it's not guaranteed.
My number one rule is don't sit in the forum. Search for the Hits yourself. Grab any hit's that have good reviews. Use the sort by section. You will find a lot of batches that way. You will find gems doing that. I find a lot that way. Then when I went survey I will type it in the box survery. Usually there at least 100 of them to be done. Hit as many as you can of those during the day. There are regular requesters who post batches every single day. Figure out what works for you.
Transcribe hits are a good place to start.. Annotate objects in images.. As well as the business card hits put up by Oscar Smith. Get your rating up. Have patience.. Never give up!
