I just expected since you make it so often it'd be okay for you to pass this one off to someone else. I'll bring this up to the other moderators further. At this point, I'm not going to remove any posts and allow the users to decide which thread to use.
I would be fine with it if they actually said something about it, when I posted twice about the thread making once at 2hr30min prior, asking if anyone wanted to make the thread, and saying if no one called it by 30 minutes prior, then I would make it. Then 30 minutes prior, I posted that 'since no one called it, I would make the thread.' No one corrected me, or said anything about making the thread. That's what i'm not cool with. It would have been fine if they had given a small mention that they were making it, even minutes before, instead of just posting the thread without saying anything.
Understandable. I think going forward there may be a different system put in place to avoid any sort of complications, or frustrations, for users on either side of this situation. Again, though, I think I'm going to leave both of them up and let the users decide which to use for today.
How is there a frustration? If they want to make the thread, then they would just say they would make the thread. There really shouldn't be a frustration as anyone is able to call it at any time. I'm not in charge and never was in charge. Only if no one called it by 30 min prior, that I would say that I would make the thread so that *someone* will make it. It's really a dick move when someone creates a thread to spite someone out of it without saying anything. Even Digitalfox has the courtesy to say when he's going to make the thread. I've been open about this multiple times. It seems like hardly anyone even cared to bring up any other systems other than one or two other people. The way it is now, anyone can call it at any time. If no one calls it for a particular day, I would say I would make it 30 minutes prior. How would that frustrate people?
