Yeah, we could seriously decrease our military spending and still have the strongest military in the history of the world.
But as Trump said in a NH interview with Anderson Cooper last night, the majority of our military budget is spent propping up and defending other countries when these countries should be paying for their own defense. He mentioned Saudi Arabia and South Korea. So even if our military is large, it isn't just benefiting Americans.
