    CONGRATS!!!!!

Although I really couldn't tell from the sonograms. With Jacob it was obvious to me in the sonograms. :D But, of course, that was my kid! :D

Why do I see a tail in that sonogram? Do babies look like human tadpoles before evolving in the womb?

This is a fantastic idea, but would take some time to set up.

What I would end up doing, is setting up 2 sets of Groups: Medcrowd Info 1, Medcrowd Info 2.

That way, only the people who were available at their chosen time would do the work so that others couldnt leech/steal their HITs.

Obviously if you are not there for one of the majority times I cannot really help you, but I think that might be the most fair solution, in this way we can have 1 batch in the morning (est) and 1 batch in the afternoon (est).

    What do you all think?

Obviously, the batches would be split in a way thats fair (if 60% of you work in the afternoon and 40% of you work in the morning then I would split the batch 60/40 kinda thing.

I cannot believe some people were offended by your email yesterday! There was nothing to be offended about as you provided choices.

Mom is only 19 weeks in, so baby is only about the size of an adult hand and the skeletal structure is still developing. I have one picture that he looks like an alien. Every time I see an ultrasound or sonogram picture, it reminds me of those psych evaluations that they say "What do you see in this picture?" LOL

Thank you all for the comments.

With what little life experience I have, I can tell you (which is why I wasn't surprised), that anyone can be offended by anything with or without a reason.

I approve of the 60/40 idea. You try so hard to accommodate all the workers and somewhere along the away, someone will get bent out of shape on the set time that is chosen. Going with a 60/40 split could accommodate more workers.

unfortunetly the only way it works for people to not leech HITs is restrict the amount a worker can do, otherwise splitting them up in two batches just gives them more opportunity to take more HITS.

and PS the "offense" people where taking is BS. its all effing politic which is why Im not a member of TN.

Well no, I meant that the groups would have 2 separate qualifications, and if you do not have the required qualification MI 1 vs 2 then you wont be allowed into the others batch.

    Make sense?

gotcha that makes sense! although you will be inendated with "why dont i have this qual" but meh its all good. they'll get over it eventually :)

Honostly i think you should do whats best for YOU and the workers can figure it out. However we havent had a requestor that takes the time in asking us these things so its nice as well :)

I see your point but I think there are very few people that are available both mornings and afternoons.

In the end whats best for me, is having the work get done. By making sure the most people can do the work I can get my work done, and by extension ensure my company is happy to keep this initiative moving forward...otherwise if I can't produce through this (which I have been able to so far) they will stop us from using this as a resource.

So in this case, whats best for you, its whats' best for me.

with only 297 qual turkers, the very few are more than likely seasoned turkers.that being said, it is not hard to hoard a batch at 25 at a time with continually saving them into queue. those very few people can knock out a batch of 1000 hits in minutes. ever wonder why you cant catch a lot of two lakes. HIT hoarders, its easy fast and when it comes to money you learn the tricks. most of the season turkers are also full time turkers like myself and are available all day. its not hard to knock out 200 hits of medcrowd in a batch.

You bring up a valid point, that I cannot deny, but I do not know that I have the ability to limit that but I will look into it so that people can't hoard.

In the end I really only heard about hoarding HITs in the last 2 weeks as it is.

I for example am available at changing hours throughout the day and could end up working at either of the batches, or even both of them depending on my schedule.
I personally don't think that blocking us from one of the batches is a good idea.

*And as for the "Hoarding", don't confuse sloppy work for quick cash with efficiency.
The fact that I can complete 200 HITs in one batch indicates experience
and efficiency, in my eyes at least.

I also don't think the idea of 2 batches is a good idea. Most of us "move" our schedule around to work on batch hits and any time you decide to post them, I can almost guarantee that they would still get done. I know that some people work at a real job and so that could hinder them from doing your hits.

I'm open for any time you want to post them. Also, just wanted to say "Thank You" again for always keeping us in the know and up to date with what is going on. It is nice to know that a requester is willing to communicate so freely and really wants to do the best for those working for him.

    Completely agreed.

I've been doing work for MedCrowd for 3 or 4 months now. It's fine that more people got the qualification but now there is a chance I can only work on 1 batch to make it fair to other people? That's a bit crazy.

You're a fantastic requester and I appreciate all of the work you give us but I think you are starting to cater too much to people and you're just going to give yourself more of a headache in the long run.
