WOW! I had other obligations today and this forum went nuts... I read through most of it... Bottom line. Mark (Medcrowd) is an awesome requester and any worker is happy to get any work from them that they can... Mark will decide what's best... The two posting option is a great idea in my opinion but that would create a lot of extra work for Mark! I'll leave this poll up for a couple more days to make sure every one gets their say... But it seems pretty clear what the best time is if there is just one posting... (And to be honest it wasn't my favorite time so I'm being fair ) Thanks for every one that has and will participate in the poll... This is how "good things happen!" Rob
I'll actually end this poll tonight and put one up for splitting the HIT times. I'll send you the final data on the this poll so you have it Mark and I'll also put a post on this forum so every one else has it... Thanks Mark! And if you need any other poll - let us know... Rob
Final Time Results From Poll... Below is a link to a screen shot of the final poll results for Medcrowd posting time... Final Poll Results for Posting Time The poll is now closed but will remain up for viewing... I do however, have to create a new thread to create a new poll.... So please look for the new thread if you are looking for Medcrowd... http://mturkforum.com/showthread.php?6224-Medcrowd
This is not true at all. If there are two batches and two separate qualifications are assigned and you are assigned to one of them then you can work all that you want on your batch until they are gone, but have no access to the other batch because you are not qualified.
Thank you everybody for supporting my idea and thank you Mark for considering it! I am very happy I could help to make everyone happy
But the time was basically set you realize! If you are okay with it than that means you have easy access. Please think of those of us who have been dedicated MedCrowd workers and can no longer access the hits because they are now being flooded by workers, and now are gone before we can get to them because of our schedule.
It happened when it happened. Batches were posted when Mark had them to post I guess. Personally I think this has gotten way out of hand and I imagine it's created a lot more stress for Mark.
It has not, I come from a market research background and opinions are important to me, especially all of yours since we (as I feel it to be) have a good working relationship together (and fun ones on boards haha). It is important that I take everything into consideration, even if I dont split the batches, being flexible about posting times, or days, or even weekends. This way everyone wins. Also, all of you who are qualified, have proven you are the quality workers we are looking for to do the work for us, there is no reason we shouldn't or I shouldn't try to accomodate you. It is healthy to have a dialogue even if it is heated or as I like to call it passionate. In the end I will make the final decision, but I hope that since this dialogue happened that no matter what the choice is, people will feel some sort of comfort knowing that they were heard. Although I favor fairness and balance so I will do whatever I can to please the majority of people, outside the majority of voted responses if that makes sense. ~ Mark L.
Seriously, have you considered politics? LOL We could use a good president! Honestly I think you're by far the best requester a lot of us have come across so I'd hate for us to cause any stress. It's nice to know you're used to it hehe
Hate politics, HATE lol politics. I appreciate your vote of confidence though haha. I'm just trying to be fair. People say life is not fair, which is true, but that doesn't change that fact that 1) we cant try, or 2) people can be fair. ~ Mark L.
Its so quite today, its almost like everyone is upset at one another...or working and just sitting on page like I am ~ Mark L.
I'm just a little slow this morning. I just got to a coffee shop and realized it's so busy and loud that I won't be able to do your HITs here. That and I feel like a hipster with my macbook pro. So I'm heading home here in about 15 minutes after I get a couple of expresso shots.
Let me just say...I never realized how serious the need for coffee was until this morning when I got up to find my daughter melted the cord to the coffee pot when she was making her breakfast this morning. I'm dragging.
