This past week I've been having issues submitting some of my HITs. All of them have the same formatting. One requester was nice enough to put another HIT up for me so I could submit the code. It was the same formatting, but this time it worked for some reason.
Another time my HIT wouldn't submit again with the same format. It expired, requester wouldn't respond. But coincidentally they put up another batch of the same HIT the same day, and again, the second time doing it it finally submitted.

I don't know what's going on. My pop up blocker isn't enabled. I do have scripts running. But why would these HITs work the second time trying them but not the first time? I'm trying to add a picture of which formatting it is that's doing this to me. It says it's powered by TurkPrime. When I go to that website it doesn't work for me. It's a blank white page. Which is what happens to me when I try to submit the HITs the first time. There is a Submit button within the HIT itself. I click that, then the page goes white.

This is incredibly frustrating. For now I wont do those HITs with those formats (they are all surveys). But I'd really like to figure out what's wrong.

Wow ok. I tried TurkPrime website again and the page finally loaded. It says at the top of the page that there will be a scheduled maintenance. Since the page loaded for me, I tried submitting my HIT again, and it worked this time.

I guess it's TurkPrime that's messing up? The requester I talked to about my HIT submitting said the problem was probably on the MTurk site.

I don't know if TurkPrime is part of MTurk or if they're separate things. But it appears it's TurkPrime that is being screwy. I just contacted them to let them know what's going on.

I don't know, but hardly anyone ever sees posts outside the daily thread where everyone hangs out. Try asking any questions here, or just come hang out with the rest of us: http://mturkforum.com/showthread.php?34083-Can-t-Find-Awesome-HITs-1-8-Nanaki-s-Not-a-Female-Friday!

Then what's the point of having the General section if no one is going to bother to read it? Why not combine everything into the daily thread? I found it very time consuming weeding through hours of conversation to find an answer in the daily thread so avoid it. When you ask a question you have to be sitting right there waiting for the answer.

There should be just a section for daily hits and another for socializing.

Despite the assertions of some of the coffee klatchers, people do look at the other sections of the forum. But I could not answer the OP’s question, so there was no point in posting a reply. ;-)

Well, that's good to hear. :) I've just seen a decline in posts being answered in the General section since I've been here. I've also seen it suggested to come over to the Daily thread more than once.
