Im in the early stage of my startup and im running out of cash. Im hoping to Mturk in my down time to put some money into my business and cover some living expenses. 20$ a day may help out quite a bit. How long do you think i would have to work each day to make 20$

longer when you start. i try to knock off ten bucks in surveys in the morning, 9-11, then another ten bucks over the day whenever i sit down, i'll grab a dollar survey, or hop on a batch when it pings my page monitor.

    20's a good day, but i'm only doing 3 or 4 hours a day

It really depends on how much time you can dedicate to working, and what types of work you can qualify for at any given time. Article writing, movie censoring and transcription are some of the higher paying jobs, but require you to pass some testing in order to do the work, so I would suggest spending some time looking at the jobs in the pay range you would like to focus on, and get your name in the ring for the qualifications. Then move on to surveys you might qualify for, then hack out a bunch of little gigs to up your approval and completion rates, as this will enable you to do more work and have more options.

If I'm not being lazy, I can make an easily $10+ a day doing random tasks. Coupling things like search tasks with points rewards programs that pay per search can help boost the income.

Just keep in mind that it's not an immediate turn around, and not all offers pay quickly. You could finish a task today for $5 but not get paid for a couple days for whatever reason. Also, because you have to transfer to Amazon Payments prior to the bank account, you need to plan for at least 2-3 business days to complete all movement prior to counting on it being available to spend. I'm in the same boat, doing this while working on things for my company, though I'm not running out of cash so much as trying to breathe a little easier. It can be done, if you have the time to dedicate to searching and weeding through the crap to get to the worthwhile stuff.
