I've completed 150+ tasks in the past few days, and some last month, for Oscar Smith's "Project Oscar," involving copying information from a business card onto a form ... and am missing payment for literally half of them. I sent him a comment to ask about the status of these payments but I have a feeling he won't reply to me.

Does anyone else do these tasks and do you have problems being paid by this requester?

I've done close to 250 of these the past couple days trying to boost my numbers, and I have been paid quickly on all of them. My only issue is what do you have to do become a "trusted worker". Grinding these out would be alot easier if I was getting .05 per hit.

Exactly how are you missing payment? He approves within 15 minutes and you get paid within few hours. Is it still showing "pending payment?"

Do you realize that means that you only get to add the 5 cent hits to the ones you are qualified for? He often doesn't have many 5 cent hits up, and right now he doesn't have any. He has almost 20,000 of the 2 cent hits, and that's what you would be getting for them even if you had that status.

Yeah. It was showing 'pending payment.'

Anyway, I misunderstood what I was looking at. When I looked into my earnings status and clicked on each individual day, I saw a long list of tasks that had an "Approved - Pending Payment" status. I thought it meant that these tasks that were pending payment had not been credited to my earnings, but that is incorrect. It seems they were credited to my earnings and only pending payment into my Amazon Payments account balance ... I logged in this morning to view the information again and saw that the tasks had a "Paid" status and my Amazon Payments account balance had increased. I was just unfamiliar with the relationship between the 2 accounts and there was no problem being paid for the tasks :)

I feel stupid now for having sent Oscar an email almost *demanding* my money lol. Oh well, these are just things that happen when you are new.

Oh, by the way ... I think you need to have a quality score of 90 to be qualified as a trusted worker. So I've heard

I wonder that anyone would even want to become a trusted worker for pay that amounts to what...a buck an hour...maybe? You could make more than that saving aluminum cans.

People don’t do these for the money... they do these for their approval %age.

Not saying I agree with it, but it is what it is. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

P9r is paying 0.01-0.07 for 29 business cards in one HIT. LOL good luck doing them. I won't touch those I would rather suffer with Oscar at least it is one business card and not multiples in one HIT. He could be paying worse like P9R's!

Ah, I feel the need to defend p9r, one of my favorite requesters ever.

Read the directions for those HITs again. Those (and I know the type of HIT you are talking about without having to look because I've done so many) is asking for one piece of information from a business card, not to transcribe the card.

There is a limit. You can only do 3,800 for him in a day. (As much as Amazon allows in a day.) And as far as his hits not being approved, that's a problem with your payments account my friend. Oscars hits are set to Auto-Approve in less then a few hours. You may contact Amazon, I'm sure this is out of oscar's hands.

My score has often been over 90 - I don't know for how many years it has to stay at that to become a "trusted" worker - LOL - just when you think you might make it - and that it might actually matter if you did - you get an 89 or 87 - mind games I don't need!
