A requestor mentioned that they would have to send the second part of the survey to be taken at my email address; then requested my email address and password for the purpose of their 'Story Site' which wasn't even a real site.

I didn't put my real password but now I am regretting even putting my email address down. He did send the rest of the survey to my email, but I am wondering why did he have to do that in the first place, why not just have it a continuation of the actual survey on mturk.

Do you think there is some way for them to decode a person's actual password if they typed it on their survey?

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

    dont worry ..
u jus change your password with some special characters..
dont give your original email and password anywhere..
always give fake email id and password for your security.
