I wish I could help you. That post is what I had in mind when I remember you saying you changed colors. Where do I find VLink? Is that capability only in Chrome (if you still can do it?)
I think it's the same in Firefox. I've stopped using FF for this work, it's just easier to have everything in one browser. Settings>Appearance>Classic--Edit Current theme. Bottom of the list.
In order to launch HIT Finder that's with MTurk Suite, you just click on the MTS icon on top of the Chrome bar. Then click HIT Finder on the drop down menu. It will open it up for you on another tab. You can't get HIT Finder by itself I think. There used to be a stand-alone HIT Finder in the past but I don't see it up anymore. There's Forker you can use if you don't want MTS.
Can someone help me figure which script or part of script I'm having problems with? The green check marks next to the Hit title and Requestor that one has done before is missing along with that icon that you could hover over and it would show you TurkOpticon 1 and 2 and Turkerview ratings for that hit. I use Mturk Suite and have all three checked in the Requestor Reviews section. Any ideas on how to get it back? Also, I haven't used hitscraper in a bit of time and noticed that I could not access it. Couldn't remember the "new" site and when I went to check my Tampermonkey dashboard saw that the "temporary fix" version of hitscraper has been deleted off of Greasyfork. Of the choices on Greasyfork is there a replacement? I see that all the updated dates are old. I use Firefox.
What new site? You mean the new Mturk that changed over a year ago? On my Tampermonkey dashboard it says that it has been deleted from Greasyfork due to negative effects. I was using it until a few months ago so not exactly sure when it was deleted. Ok, that's weird. There's one by Tjololo. I don't remember seeing that one there. I will try that one.
Yes I meant the new Mturk from over a year ago now. Not sure which one you were using. The one from Feihtality is still up and works. I just tried it but it's links are messed up though. You won't be able to click directly to the Mturk page unless you remove <.json?ref=w_pl_prvw> off the URL then you can see it in Mturk. You can see what is up from it. https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/10615-hit-scraper-with-export And the URL to use it on is: https://worker.mturk.com/hit_scraper EDIT: I see there's a script to fix that json issue. Don't know if that works. https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/37713-hit-scraper-fix-for-json-issue
Hey Everyone! I'm not sure if I'm asking this in the right place or not, or whether or not I'll get a reply, BUT, I used to Turk about 4-5 years ago and had to stop. Now, I've returned and everything is wayyyyyy different than I remember! I'm on Firefox, and I can't seem to get most of the scripts to work properly, or even know what I'm looking for anymore. Is there a general "Getting Started" sort of thread for this new version of Mturk?
Hi! Welcome back! Things have changed around here in the past few years. Do you have Tampermonkey installed? Need to use that in order to get scripts working properly. If you already have that, what scripts are you looking for? Scripts can be found here: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts?q=mturk Scripts work on Firefox and Chrome. Let us know if you need any specific help or join us in the daily thread where we all hang out and share HITs.
Wow, you responded so fast, wasn't expecting that haha. I guess mostly, I'm unsure if the scripts I have are working properly, things like Turkopticon, which isn't popping up with the ratings from what I can tell. I have Tampermonkey installed as well as a few of the scripts. Its all so different than I remember, haha. I think that the one I remember using the most before--which I of course can't remember the name of-- had a list on the side of the dashboard, where it kept a refreshing list of HITs, and also ones that you were trying to catch if they came back around? I'll also head over to the Great HITs forum!
I think you're thinking of Turkmaster? I used to use that. I loved it and had to give it up because it wasn't working anymore after the Mturk update. So I switched over to Panda Crazy. It was hard for me to learn and accept using it but eventually I got used to it and can't live without it now. Panda Crazy does what Turkmaster used to do and more.
Yes. It catches HITs for you and more. You can do requester search and it'll catch whatever they post. Nice way of organizing your panda into groups. You can rename your pandas. Set how many HITs it should catch. Pretty nifty once you learn how to use it. https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/19168-jr-mturk-panda-crazy
