The two year old, who named the cat Rooster, refused to eat her eggs this morning because I was supposed to take them back to the chickens for hatching. I may end up with a vegetarian before it's over with.

 

I'm sorry but that's so cute.

My grandparents had chickens and my pepere said it was time to kill Miss Pickeral, which was my mom's bird... and my mom didn't eat chicken for years and years. It devastated her because she considered it her pet. All the others were fine, but not her Miss Pickeral.

Hmm..NOT good pay but maybe it can be done quicker? New to too tho

 

Awww! I totally get that. I am no where close to being a vegetarian, but I don't think I could ever eat anything that I raised. I wanted my chickens for eggs. And will have no issue eating them (the eggs), but I could never be a farmer and eat anything that I watched grow up.

As for little miss, she is a very sweet girl and is always thinking about everyone and everything else. Her brother got a light pop recently because he kept pushing the reset button on the cable box. When it happened, she ran over to him and lost it! Rubbing his head and laying on the floor next to him bawling. I asked her what was wrong and she yelled "He's a friend!" So now, every time he does it, she runs up to me and puts her hands on my legs to stop me and reminds me that he's a friend and we don't pop our friend's hands, lol.
