It was 62 here today. I love this weather but I also hate it because not a single one of my cars have a heater.

That's what our temp is supposed to be tomorrow. Today was 86 but I think that's our last hot day for the year. I love fall and hope it lasts until December :D

Hope you don't have problems starting them in the winter. I know my cars had trouble starting when I lived in Chicago. Snow and the cold sucks. Locks would be frozen, scraping windows of ice and rusted body due to the salt on the roads.

I grew up in Maine and have lived in WI and MN. I have had my fill of loooooong cold winters. I like a little winter but not 7 months of winter.

I'm having fun now with A9's pictures and PicsFromAbove pools. Both good when I'm tired.

Funny . . . most people love this time of year. Strangely enough, it is actually my least favorite (September - mid October). Once I get close to Halloween, I start to get into the holiday mood. Now though, it is still kind of warm but the pool is closed. It is such a reminder that summer is over (and what is coming). I can deal with the bitter cold and snow better (not a huge fan of January either)

Starting usually isn't the issue, a plus to having a 10 car garage is many options. However salt is used a lot in my area during the winter. It also isn't fun waking up 30 minutes early to scrape the windshield and hope it doesn't fog back up when you start driving.

The long winters got to me too. In Michigan, it is just so grey and bleh for months. I love a fresh snowfall but when it gets to the point where there are just mounds of dirty grey snow in all the parking lots and along the streets it is kind of depressing.

In all honesty I think the reason I love fall and winter is because of the clothes. I look like crap in summer clothes. I like being able to layer stuff to try to hide my bulk :D

But, I will say that I never met any nicer people than midwesterners. The quality of life in MN and WI was awesome except for the mosquitoes and snow :D

Chicago=After going through zero degrees for days then suddenly it's 40 degrees, everyone is so overjoyed and wearing just sweaters or without jackets. 40 is amazingly warm after zero days. Now I can't even tolerate 50 degrees soon after it drops after living in Florida for awhile.

    This is sooo true.

Can Confirm, my cousins grew up mostly in Florida and every time they came to visit my Grandmother they always wore jeans. 70, 80, 90, 100 did not matter they never wore shorts. Me... unless it gets below zero, Im wearing shorts. Born in Maine and lived all but 6 months in NC.

I too hated the cold, gray, snowy winters in Ohio. They seemed to last forever! But it did seem that the people back home were actually friendlier than the people down here. Down here they may bless your heart but they'll also stab your back.

I used to always say that in the fall we put sweaters on when it's 60 degrees but in the winter or spring we are in shirt sleeves if it's 45 degrees :D
