Pick the Odd One Out 1000/95 No TO. Penny hits but fast. I did three as a tester. https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchb...rds=+Sharon+Cavlovich+&minReward=0.00&x=0&y=0
I just did 3, too, to test the waters. Pay isn't great, but it's interesting. For some of them, there really doesn't appear to be a correct answer.
Yeah. I get the feeling that the HIT will be gone by the time any of the HITS I completed are approved. So if they come up good, maybe I can get in on it next time.
I tried one of her "NELL evaluation" hits, because it looked like 10 cents for one true/false question, which is pretty good wages for MTurk. But every question I answered made another one appear, like one of those never-ending Dolores Lab hits. And some of those true/false questions turned out to require a lot more research than you'd think. After that seriously deceptive time-waster, I'm afraid to touch her stack of pennies.
Well, crap! At least I didn't get burned, and can give a good TO rating, I guess. ETA: I said that because my HITs are approved now, too. I checked after the PP said they were approved.
Did anyone else find her pick the odd one out HITs very HARD at times? Seriously sometimes I had to look them up to figure it out. oxidase, phosphateses, antagonists, reductase, sre Like wtf? I ran into some that were even harder as i'd never even seen the words before, so I stopped at like 5. All were approved, but I spent too much time on them for them to be 'good' penny HITs. Did anyone else just guess at them and have them approved, or did you look into depth into them?
I really doubt she expects you to look think like that up. I could be wrong. It might be worth emailing her and asking. FWIW, I didn't run across any that were hard in that way. The ones I ran across were hard in that the choices were like "if, then, ran, jumped, hopped." None were as easy as the example given.
I only did three as a test. Two of the three were cake. The third had an odd word as well. Did I call them good penny hits? I didn't mean to. They were just different compared to mindless work. That's why I put this in requesters and not great hits. That said I'd do a batch of her hits again to pad my numbers.
I had like 3 like that, then the weird one. Then they got weirder, and harder. Words i'd NEVER seen nor heard of. They were either technical med terms, or some other jargon. That's when I stopped and just saw if they'd get approved.
