You can basically find everything on amazon.com. And they understand a lot of stuff is old and isn't made anymore, especially in clothing. If you can only find it somewhere like ebay, then it's probably out of season and not being made anymore. They don't mind you using another brand in those cases. For instance, when someone has a plain tshirt with some odd ball brand that I cant find, I just put a simple hanes shirt in. I'm finding a lot of todays items on walmart.ca, the canadian walmart.
Meh, worst case scenario I get a reject. I can add it to the pile of 11 I already have...mostly from fucking net MSI.
If anyone does CrowdSource anything they just sent out an email: We are making a number of updates to our internal system, which requires a brief downtime of our system and all work posted. This downtime is scheduled for Tuesday (8/19) from 4am to 6am CST. During this downtime on Tuesday, there will be no CrowdSource tasks available on both WorkStation and MTurk. Any tasks assigned at 4am on Tuesday will be revoked, so we ask that you avoid claiming any tasks during this period to prevent losing any pending work. A global alert will also be posted on both MTurk and WorkStation to alert any workers active during this downtime.
Are summers kind of slower than usual for HITs? Are there more HITs when it comes Fall and Winter? I read somewhere awhile ago that summers are usually slow.
Jeeze, I'm running a significantly more powerful cpu than yours and I still won't bother with 1080P recording. Kids today need the learn the value of 640x480 resolution dammit cause back in my day we got 160x130 and LIKED It
We are excited for summer to end. Though the money to be made depends far more on what sort of batches are available than it does on how many surveys are up. You really want to get rich, have a lot of planes crash in the ocean and ride the Ricklin train to wealth.
I stopped being lazy and cheap and finally ordered that 27" monitor. Now I can split screen some turking goodness with some Sasha Grey on the side. Next up...a new keyboard..
YES!! But mostly if you can get the writing qualifications and are decent at writing/editing. Some of their other stuff is good too. They reject if you do stuff wrong, but I've never been unfairly rejected by them. Some people hate them though
If you can get some of their writing quals it can be. Some of the categorization stuff they post isn't bad either, but you have to pick and choose which batches to do because a lot aren't worth it.
