UM* sorry https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchbar?selectedSearchType=hitgroups&requesterId=A3OR4CASNE6A2G 4 cents for all that work? Maybe after I do a few hours I'll have enough to buy all that crack you must be smoking.
Wonder how long these will sit there! Unfortunately, seems AMT is approving new members, so someone will do it.
24 questions to answer, majority rules and 15 days to pay. I'll bet anything if you're rejected, it happens within 2 days, though.
I can't stand majority rules hits. I however found a way around getting a reject from classify this. If I am not sure I return it. Did 300 the other day and not one rejection. Time before that I got 21 rejections. So returning the few that I am uncertain on did the trick.
Wow, that guy might even be worse then the "dermatologist" requester (the requester who was charging like 2 cents to look at these horrifying skin conditions and answer a bunch of questions about them)
Yeah those are ridiculous. Tried one of them a few months ago, and returned the HIT halfway through. Definitely not worth the amount of work for 4 cents
Too bad there's not a blog attached to this forum. I'd like to see a (s)HIT of the week post with something like the amount of work required or time to complete a specific HIT, with an extrapolation of the hourly rate someone could expect to make doing those HITs. For example, a certain well-known (and often-savaged) requester's HITs take me from 2-3 minutes to complete and pay 2 cents. This would mean my expected pay rate would be from 40 to 60 cents per hour, or about $4 per day if I worked for 8 hours and my average completion time was in the middle of that range.
These miser requesters are not at all serious about getting any work done from turkers. even if some work is done that's enough for them, mturk will return their prepaid money.
