Hi folks, We're trying out a new interface for "list actions for an image". We want just one word or phrase per image (or more, optionally, if you can't decide what to put). I'd love if you could give feedback on the HIT design. Is the price good? Is it easy to navigate and type? Thanks! - Catherine Title: List actions for images Requester: Catherine [A285GGBNA0RO6L] (TO) Description: View 9 images of places; list 1-3 actions that people could do there Reward: $0.09 Qualifications: Total approved HITs is not less than 100, HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 95, Location is US Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=279O8JIA0RYN74NPBID0CBML2XK05G Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys
Not sure on price, it was a little difficult to navigate due to the frame we have to work within. You need to make the frame height taller. More requesters really need to look at that as it would increase productivity significantly on some HITs. 768 is the smallest pixel height recommended by windows today. The default for HITs setup is 400px height. That isn't a lot of room to work with. I'd set it for a minimum of 700. I'd like to see it at 1000 for your hits because some users have larger monitors. I have and use a 20" monitor, 27" monitor, 32" and a LCDTV. There is no downside for those using smaller monitors that I can see. The only difference is whether your scrolling the frame or scrolling the page when the frame is larger than the page. Navigation from one box to the next and filling in the boxes are easy enough. I think once you can see the picture and the input boxes at the same time the productivity/price will be okay.
Here's a new version of the interface, you can try again even if you did yesterday's trial also: Title: List actions for images Requester: Catherine [A285GGBNA0RO6L] (TO) Description: View 8 images of places; list 1-3 actions that people could do there Reward: $0.10 Qualifications: Total approved HITs is not less than 100, HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 95, Location is US Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=279O8JIA0RYN74NPBID0CBML2XL05H Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys
