So far I've seen keyword searching and URL ranking, which was worth 2.5 times as much, but looked quite longer. Is URL ranking worth it, and are there any other kinds of HITs to look out for?
no to people are alike, some people do one hit at a rapid speed and others cant. You have to figure out what you are good at.
I disagree they used to be worth it. I seen them at 3500 and didn't even bother in that time. I made 22 off of CS. See different stroke for different folks.
You disagree? Yeh ok man. Whatever. I get it. You make a lot of money on here. But for 99.9% of the people on here Two Lakes is definitely worth it.
I'm big on the CrowdSource, especially the searching for 0.08, it's a breeze with another window opened on Google, and lots of the searches are the same. The only disappointment is they cut me off very quickly and some days it seems like I do less than others before that happens. They do send me emails when they're available again though, and I made an account on there website to see my earning stats. Another good batch when you can find it is searching for addresses. 411.com, and I bang out 80 before I even know it.
The best ones for me when they are working are the crowdsource 8 cent hits, the crowdflower video sentiment hits on youtube videos, and the michelle green hits. Michelle green might only be available for the next week or so I think though. You just have to keep searching. Try to search survey and then choose hits i am qualified for, and then choose shortest amount of time first. if you see any at under 5 minutes for 10 cents those are probably pretty good.
No need to be a jerk. That was not at all what I was saying. All I said is find something you can do fast, Not everyone can process the same work the same way at the same speeds.
I'm liking the crowdsource ones too, but it feels like I get locked out of them pretty quickly. Only after like a dollar. Either that or all the jobs are gone pretty quickly and the 1000s of HITs left are just a result of the website being behind.
I wasn't being a jerk. I was just mentioning that for most people on here Two Lakes is a very good batch. There's a reason they go by very fast. A lot of people think they are worth it. I just didn't want to discourage anyone from Two Lakes thinking that it's not worth it. For someone new.. it is easy, quick, approves fast, and pays quickly.... Obviously for people like yourself, who have been on here a while, you have found other batches that may provide better buck for your bang than two lakes provides. That's fine.
No need for hostility. Mtnsurf is right. In general though, most batch HITs that go quickly are the ones worth it. I always hear about Two Lakes and Medcrowd so those are probably your best bet if you can get the qual. Getting the qual for these good batches is what it's all about. I've applied and tested many times and either failed or heard nothing back. Other batches, namely Oscar Smiths, are a rip off. It takes you 5 minutes to enter data from a business card all for only 2 cents. I mean it's something if your bored and can't find anything else. Not much else for that though. He also sold his operation to linkedin which people know and linkedin is way too big to worry about a 200 dollar hit counts here on mTurk. They never reply as good as oscar did. Make sure your score doesnt dip either or you wont be able to ever do them again.
There's a link to your profile within their HITs. Those emails are the only reason I still do crowdsource.
