I loaded up yesterday's thread on accident and saw a post from MrBoone about the government shutting down crowdsourcing sites? Is this a rumor or should we actually be concerned?
Haven't seen any recent news to suggest such a thing? However, given the Crowdflower lawsuit and other pushes to classify workers in crowdwork beyond independent contractors, Amazon could eventually decide it's not the worth the legal nightmare of possible litigation. This was my assertion last year and I stand by it. There doesn't appear to be movement in that direction though.
