How often I look up depends on the actual batch - some are better than others. Sometimes I know most stuff and don't have to look up many at all. If I have to look up more than, say, 20%, I don't bother doing the batch because it's not worth it. Also, the more you do them the better you get. I can identify things now since I have looked them up in the past which really helps with time.

Cool, figured it would take some getting used to. Although, to be honest, I was a little deflated seeing that they would actually take some effort after seeing so much hype whenever they post a good batch, but I'm happy to be finally able to do them after all these years.

The hits that are usually up are the 3.1s which are mediocre at best (for most of us, anyway). They also post 1.0s (4 cent hits) which are super easy and fast. I make $30+ an hour on the 1.0s with a script. They are very easy and usually involve no looking stuff up or guessing. They don't post as often, but when they do you can really make money.
And I'm sure the reason they qualled so many new people is that the 3.1 batches sit there all day, but it sucks because now when the 1.x stuff posts it's gonna disappear in like 5 minutes. Of course the ideal thing would be to keep the current workforce and raise the pay for 3.1s a couple of cents, but we know that's never gonna happen.
