I found a 2005 Hyundai Elantra sedan owned by a mechanic, who's fixing it up to near perfect condition. As soon as I get my insurance card, and my friend's certified check reaches him, I can pick it up, probably by mid-week. Elantras last forever, like Camrys, Civics and Corollas. Salvage company gave me $100 for my 1995 Toyota Camry. I had put a lot of money into it this past year, but it was too old to make all the new parts usable to them. I've been without a car since before Christmas. I'm tired of relying on other people's schedules and cancelling appointments.
