I'm not very experienced in Chrome, but I'm running my HitFinder in it, overlaid on my Firefox. I know FF is not doing this. I'm getting popups on the bottom right corner with a message "Accepted hit from [name]" with various names from MTurk, and it plays loud rock music, scaring the s--- out of me every half hour or so. Any clues?
You can mute it. There's an option on the bottom far right "Mute Alarm". Never mind, I'm thinking of Panda Crazy. EDIT: That's a setting in Chrome I believe where you get pop up notifications. That can be turned off if you want. Go to Chrome's Setting (top right 3 dots on the toolbar) Setting> Advanced> Content Settings> Click notifications There is where you can adjust your notifications.
