My suggestion is to take speech classes over the summer when the number of people is smaller. Much easier! Edit: Although I "cheated" by taking mine at a community college and transferring the hours. I went to school in KS at good ol' ESU. Not big classes there, but I was still too intimidated. lol
I am attending Fort Hays State University through their Virtual School so my speeches have to be given in front of five adults of my choosing. That is hopefully going to help me since I will know all of them personally! ETA: I think it is hilarious that I have to have them all wave to the camera before and after my speech.
