Pretty much the only way to catch them is to panda them which is why I post the HITs just for the pandas. Catching them off Mturk is like finding a four leaf clover. I got lucky once!

I think that's what messed me on a Chrome update while back with the tiny font on here so it doesn't show tiny anymore because I had to adjust my internet font. Haaate Chrome updates.
I've found masters to be somewhat of a disappointment. You'd have to pry it out my cold dead hands of course, but during that 18 month period where nobody at all got masters I'd mentally built it up into this fantastic and utterly unobtainable thing. For the most part it is just more of the same old stuff. A few more surveys, a few more batches, etc. A lot of no TO stuff -- I'm guessing most new requesters have no idea it defaults their HITs to masters. Plenty of horribly underpaid crap. A lot of work is things I hate doing: find-it-on-the-internet, categorize stuff based on inadequate instructions, etc., but for some people that is good work. On the plus side, even if it is more of the same, it is still MORE of the same. More possibilities. If there is a decent survey or something there is less competition and a better chance of grabbing it. And most importantly, no captchas. I think I'd quit if I had to do captchas again. Simply not having to think about it, wonder if that grab on a $5 survey will be killed by a captcha, being able to grab a full queue of something without a frantic typing intermission, etc. I'm sure most people get more out of it than me, but don't assume that masters will be the Answer and you'll suddenly be rolling in more money than you know what to do with. I suspect a couple of good quals that post often would be more valuable overall. That said, your $100 day inspired me to stop screwing around and earn $100 myself yesterday. And it was 95% masters. Ahem.
Off topic: Don't watch contemporary movies, but noticed they are remaking the 6 million dollar man into a movie. One of my fave shows as a kid. And then it hit me... I want to become the Six Million Mturk Hit Man!! Before the movie comes out in late 2018! That's my new goal/milestone! LOL What do you guys think?
At my current rate I'll reach 6 million HITs just before my 108th birthday. I just don't know how you do it. Mind boggling. Do you know of anyone with more hits that you?

Myopia, two old mturkforumers probably have more hits than me. One of them hit one million way back in 2011, three years before I did. I'm sure there are others. Hundreds of Thousands of workers since 2005 or whenever this started. I'm guessing only a few dozen have more hits than me...so I'm proud
